Charges for 2023
Charges are made up of a basic hire fee and a mileage charge for transporting the belfry to your location.
1. Hire Charges:
- Within the Lichfield Diocese – £50 per day
- Outside the Lichfield Diocese – £110 per day (1st day) & £60 per day (2nd and subsequent days)
- Weddings by arrangement
2. Mileage Charges
- Up to 50 miles – £100
- Additional miles – £1 per mile
- If the hirer collects and tows the trailer to the event – £40 to cover the erector’s travel costs
Example
Hiring for three days within the Lichfield Diocese at a location 55 miles away:
- Hire fee – 3 x £50 = £150
- Mileage Charges – First 50 miles = £100 + Next 5 miles = £5
- Total – £150 + £100 + £5 = £255
